Animal age part 43/23/2023 The Animal Control Officer shall enforce the provisions of this chapter and any other regulations pertaining thereto, and shall be empowered to issue summons, citations, and complaints relating to this chapter.Such facility shall be operated by the Tribe, and located within the bounds of the Reservation, and shall be the primary impoundment and housing facility for impounded animals. The Chief of Police shall develop the Plan in consultation with the Directors of the Procurement Department and the Health Department. ![]() The plan shall include: a feasibility study addressing the start-up costs, operating costs, equipment, logistics, location, public safety and health issues, and potential liabilities of an on-Reservation Tribal Pound. The Animal Control Officer shall be an employee of the Tribe, and shall enforce the provisions of this chapter under the supervision of the Chief of Police.īy Augthe Chief of Police shall present to the Tribal Council a written plan for the establishment of a permanent Tribal Pound facility. The position of Animal Control Officer is hereby established. This chapter shall apply to all matters involving control of animals on lands within the jurisdiction of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe.
